Ariana Grande music video
23/November/2011

Today I got to work on Ariana Grande’s first music video for her upcoming single, “Put Your Hearts Up”. The video was co-directed by my friends Meiert Avis and Jeremy Alter, so it was nice to work with them again and on the Universal back lot, which was a dream come true; “Back To The Future” was shot there!
Also there was my partner in crime from the Spill Canvas shoot, Kelsey McNamee. I got my co-star from “Breaking Wind”, Heather Ann Davis, to join in on the action. I also meet former HSN host Craig Rooke. We all got to learn a dance for the finale and perform with about a hundred extras who are all Ariana fans. Overall it was a great way to kick off Thanksgiving weekend
Madi Diaz video premiere
09/August/2011
Check out the write up for the above video, I get a sweet little mention:
“Q:Who are you kissing?
A:I have no idea. Kissing sure is fun though, right? Actually...I think his name is Erik...Erik with a "k". Yeah that HAS to be it, why would I remember such specific spelling otherwise? He was a very sweet guy. A gentleman even. I had never kissed on camera before and he was very forgiving.”
Tae Music video out now
03/May/2011
Worked two days on a music video for the singer / song writer Tae. I play the bad boyfriend in the video. It was a fun shoot. I got to reconnect with an old friend Tim Thompson, who shot B camera on my feature “Flying Saucer Rock N Roll”. Him and Adam Partridge directed the video.
Madi Diaz video
30/April/2011

Last night I pulled double duty as still photographer and actor in Matt Amato’s latest music video for Madi Diaz. Overall, it was a great time at the Masses office. David Myrick was the DP for the video. My friend and fellow Masses Lab director Alistair LeGrand took the above photo.

All in all it sounds like a sweet deal, you get to see the music video, err, short film they shot recently, in which I play a feature G-Man, and a free concert. Check out this site for more details.
Raphael Saadiq video out now
03/April/2011
Click the youtube window to watch, I’m about 43 seconds in.
The video was directed by Dori Oskowitz and executive produced by Danielle Hinde, both of whom I know through The Masses and fellow director Matt Amato.
In the video, I play a bouncer for a girls only club. We shot in the old number 23 fire house in downtown LA. Which is where they shot the interior offices for the film Ghostbusters.

I spent the last two days working on the new Social Distortion music video. I can’t say much about it at the moment but what I will say is that the band are all really cool guys and I had a great time acting in the video. Stay tuned for updates!

Halestorm Music Video
25/August/2010
The new video for the song “Poison” by Halestorm is out, so check it out above! I play the 1940’s cop holding the camera. I’m not in much but it was still a lot of fun to hang out with my friends Anton Pardoe, Jeremy Alter, Mike Latch, Joe D. and the band’s bassist Josh Smith!
We shot the video at an amazing house on the cliffs of Malibu. It was build in 1927 by a man who made his fortune in wool. It felt like Norma Desmond lived there, which perfectly fit the noir feel of the video.
Halestorm Video Shoot
25/June/2010

Today I got to play a 1940’s cop for the upcoming video “Poison” by the band Halestorm. There was certainly a Valley Crossfit connection: the video was directed and produced by members Anton Pardoe & Jeremy Alter; featured head coach Mike Latch and members Joe and myself; and lastly, the band’s bassist is member and good friend Josh Smith!

The Spill Canvas music video

Had a great shoot working on the new music video for The Spill Canvas. The video is for their new single “Our Song” off their upcoming album. Chris LeDoux and Jeremy Alter shared the director’s chair on this one and even Meiert Avis stopped to help produce. My co-star is the very talented and lovely, Kelsey McNamee.
Michael Bublé music video
10/February/2010

Today I worked my first day on Michael Bublé’s newest video for the song “Hold On”. I got to work with Meiert Avis again, who co-directed the Rise Against video I was in last year. My friends Jeremy Alter and Anton Pardoe are producing the video as well.
The most changeling part of the day was learning to ice skate, as I have never skated before in my life, but by the end of the day I got the hang of it. Overall it was a great shoot and I am looking forward to working tomorrow, the last day of shooting.

Another great day on the Dido shoot
19/September/2008

Just wrapped my two day shoot on the Dido music video and had a great time. First day we shot at a beautiful ranch in Thousand Oaks, CA, which has been featured in X-Files, Seabiscuit and many other TV shows, movies and commercials.
Today we shot at the Mack Sennet studio in Silverlake neighborhood of LA. Built during the silent era, the studio had a great vibe and lots of history.
I also got to know Matt Amato of The Masses, a great director in his own right. You can see work in Dido’s in studio film featured heavily on her site.
Also met still photographer Bryony Shearmur. She was shooting both film and digital. I can’t wait to see her pics. Hopefully I will be able to post some of them on my site.
